Hello Mumma-Moomaw researchers, cousins, family and friends -

DATABASE STATUS -  I uploaded a revised Mumma database to the Web site  today, 
May 19th.  It now contains 40,996 individuals. This message is being sent to 
371 people who are on the Mumma web site distribution list. Some of the 
database changes are as follows:

Michael J. Mumma provided enough information to attach the "unidentified" 
David Mumaw [U3] properly as a descendant of the immigrant, Jacob Mumma.  His 
assistance is appreciated.

Added a new unidentified line, U31, for Christian Mumma who married Rutha A. 
Hendrix in Baltimore on 20 Jan 1848.  Information about Christian and some of 
his descendants was supplied by Becky Anstine.

I have added a search engine that will search my web site for any key words 
you want to enter.  It will not, however, search the Mumma database which has 
its own search engine.  It may or may not be useful to you.  It is located on

There is a very interesting and impressive web site that all of you might like 
to visit.  It is the web site of Katrina Mumaw who is an accomplished pilot at 
the tender age of 15.  You have got to read her story.  The URL is
